Zapier AI
Is it safe?
Four things worth knowing before you type anything into Zapier AI. Where Zapier AI says it itself, we quote them and link to the page we read it on.
What happens to what you type?
They use your content to train their AI models by default, but you can fill out a form to stop it.
“Zapier may derive de-identified data sets from your Customer Content ("Derived Data") and may use such Derived Data to operate, enhance, improve, and develop Zapier products or services, including through model training. You may opt out”
They keep your data until you delete your account, after which it is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
“Once you delete your Zapier Account, neither your Zapier Account nor your Customer Content can be restored or recovered in any way.”
Can it be wrong?
We could not find this in Zapier AI’s own published policy, so we are not going to tell you either way. You can ask them: zapier.com ↗
What should you never type into it?
Until you turn training off in the settings, treat anything you type as something a stranger could one day read. Either way: never passwords, bank details or someone else's private information.
Do you have to give them a card?
We could not confirm a free version from Zapier AI’s pricing page, so assume you will need to pay.
