Is it safe?
Four things worth knowing before you type anything into Grammarly. Where Grammarly says it itself, we quote them and link to the page we read it on.
What happens to what you type?
They use your content and interactions by default to improve their services and train their suggestion engine.
“Operating, providing, improving, troubleshooting, and debugging our Services (for example, your acceptance or rejection of our grammatical suggestions may help train our suggestion engine)”
They keep your data for as long as they need it for business and legal purposes, with no specific end date.
“We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our products to you, to complete the transactions you have requested, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and for other legitimate business purposes.”
Can it be wrong?
The company explicitly warns users not to rely on their AI as a single source of factual information.
“DUE TO THE CURRENT NATURE OF GENERATIVE AI TECHNOLOGY, YOU SHOULD NOT RELY ON SUPERHUMAN’S GENERATIVE AI AS A SINGLE SOURCE OF FACTUAL INFORMATION.”
What should you never type into it?
Treat anything you type as something a stranger could one day read. No bank details, no medical details, no client work you were trusted with, no passwords.
Do you have to give them a card?
