Is it safe?
Four things worth knowing before you type anything into Jasper. Where Jasper says it itself, we quote them and link to the page we read it on.
What happens to what you type?
They use your data to train their AI models by default, but users in the EU and UK can opt out.
“If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have the right to object to the use of your Customer Property for the purpose of improving the artificial intelligence models.”
They keep your data for as long as they deem necessary for their purposes.
“The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.”
Can it be wrong?
We could not find this in Jasper’s own published policy, so we are not going to tell you either way. You can ask them: jasper.ai ↗
What should you never type into it?
Until you turn training off in the settings, treat anything you type as something a stranger could one day read. Either way: never passwords, bank details or someone else's private information.
Do you have to give them a card?
We could not confirm a free version from Jasper’s pricing page, so assume you will need to pay.
